I found a web page that sells chestnut flour and has come gluten free recipes on it. I wonder if it would be a good flour for desserts? They have recipes for chestnut bread, bisque, and crepes. I am thinking about trying it, does anyone have any suggestions?

Do chestnuts qualify as nuts, like walnuts and almonds?
