My doctor has yet to give me any advice or diagnosis. I have been pushing for a dietitian basically just to force them to write something down. Well today I received it. Diagnosis: Celiac Sprue. I don't know why it has taken them so long to decide but I am glad and now I can move forward. I am sorry if this sounds bad, but I am relieved. I have a sense of control now that I didn't have before, when nothing made sense.

Being relieved does not sound silly at all!! Knowing instead of wondering can be a great relief. Your mind sometimes wanders when you do not have a definate diagnosis. I know I thought I was dying before I got mine, good to know I wasn't!!

Congrats on your definate diagnosis, now you can work on getting healthy again.

A definite diagnosis means finally being able to do something about it. The relief is almost overwhelming! I am glad for you, to finally be out from under the cloud of wondering!

I, too, was so afraid I was dying a few times I was on the verge of admitting myself until they figured it out!
