Disodium EDTA (and other forms of EDTA) are unrelated to salt.what is the dressing brand and flavour? that's just another word for salt.

Disodium ethylenediaminetetraacetate (EDTA) is a preservative. It is the sodium salt of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid. It is a big word. It does NOT contain gluten.
"Disodium" by itself is not a complete description of anything; it must be combined with something else to form a compound, whose chemical formula would be Na2-something.
