So I have always bought Biolage because it works the best for my naturally curly, course hair...just bought a new bottle of shampoo and conditioner. Today I was taking my time in the shower and thought about reading the label.........."wheat germ oil"!!!!!!! are you kidding me?? $30 down the drain!!!!! any suggestions on some good shampoo/conditioner I can get at a decent price???

Hi! I switched to Aubrey Organics Rosa Mosqueta shampoo. It is great for me--I have curly hair. Has given me more body and shine than any other shampoo. I buy it at Wild Oats usually. It isn't as cheap as "Pantene", but not as much as Biolage. Maybe $15 or so?

Thats Crazy the exact same thing happened to me..... Biologe has been my favorite for years. I need help still what shampoo and conditioner are you currently using.... Anyone with some feed back would be cool!

I just had this same issue...

I'm trying out Giovanni...it's not bad, leaves my hair very soft. I like the smooth as silk conditioner the best of all the products i've tried so far. I got their spray in/leave in conditioner which is working good. I also got the straightening gel they have out. I am not so thrilled with this. It's too thick & gummy for my taste. And it leaves my hair frizzy.

Be careful w/ the Aubrey Organics line b/c some of their products contain wheat, so just double check everything.

Good luck and PLEASE share your results when you try something out. I too have naturally curly hair. I can wear it curly or straighten it out. I'm always searching for good products.

I like the Giovanni that Turtle uses and also ShiKai Everyday Shampoo and Conditioner. Neither of those contain SLS, which I need to stay away from.

So NONE of the products found at walmart or Walgreen's are OK???

Dove will list any gluten ingredients on the label.

I used Redken for years (not the curl one), and too found it had wheat in it. I was really irritated because I loved my fancy salon shampoo! I switched to Dove and soon realized that you can get quality shampoo from a $4 bottle!

A lot of Pantene is gluten-free. I'm not fond of it, but it's easy to throw in the cart at Walmart.
