I was given a prescription for this for inflamed muscle tissue in my shoulders. After reading the warnings I am almost afraid to take it. If you have taken this, did you feel okay with it?

Sarah

I took it for several years, many years ago. I've had pain issues for a long time. Now I use mangosteen juice for relief of pain and many other things.

No problems from THE LODINE....but it can be dangerous for what it can do to your liver and your stomach.

I take 500mg twice a day for my rheumatoid arthritis. I've taken it for 2-3 years with no problems. I do take pepcid for acid reflux but that started before I went on the Lodine. I think Lodine is a good middle-of-the-road NSAID. It's old enough to have a good long track record yet new enough to provide better stomach protection.

I've taken over two dozen different NSAIDs over the years, some I stopped because they just didn't work, some for mild side effects like ringing in the ears, dizziness and mild stomach upset. There was only one that caused a serious side effect and that was Voltaren - it caused a spike in my liver enzymes. (Which went back to normal once I stopped taking it.)

Everyone is different, listen to what your body tells you - yea :) or nay :( .

LKelly8 and Lymetoo,

Thank you. I am feeling a little bit better about taking this now. I might try the mangosteen first.

Be sure to buy the ORIGINAL MANGOSTEEN SUPPLEMENT. Others are only copycats and not very effective.
