I have to vent. As much as I am trying not to be such a whiny butt about all this, and trying to stay posative and all. I just think it really sucks that I am going to the fair today and there is a long list of traditional fair foods I can't have, I will miss the corndogs and elephant ears the most. boo-hoo.... :( maybe I'll smuggle some gluten free food in....

Check with vendors on the brand and ingredients of their ice cream. Maybe you can still have a treat. Also, someone posted here before saying that cotton candy is gluten free. Yum.

im not going to the fair this year simply beacuse i cant have elephant ears.

and ill tell ya what.. i have tried to make them at home.

Well, I managed to find a giant (ginormous) baked potato, so I got to eat something. Lol, I kept sniffing the greasy air though, yum...

elephant ears are like a big flat donut (oddly looks like an elephant ear) fried up, and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. A fair tradition. <_<

      Enlarged lymph nodes in neck and groin with celiac are not uncommon. They can take time to reduce even after going gluten-free. Monitoring is key.

      Hi Scott, yes I have had symptoms for years and this is the second GI I have seen and he could not believe I have never been tested. He called later today and I am scheduled for an endoscopy. Is there a way to tell how severe my potential celiac is from the results above? What are the chances I will have the biopsy and come back negative and we have to keep searching for a cause?

      I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.
