Hi Ashlee, and welcome to this board.
Your hormones changed through pregnancy, obviously. It appears that you may not be able to handle starches very well. You know, most of the time, we crave what we're most allergic to.
I will gain weight just by looking at starches and sugars (not really, of course)

. I very rarely bake at all, even with non-grain starches (I am intolerant to all grains), because I instantly gain weight if I eat starchy and sugary foods. They are a rare treat for me.
I am afraid that your only weight-loss option might be to give up your starchy, sugary treats. Or at least to limit them to once a week maybe, like Sunday dessert or something like that. Or one cookie a day. Or whatever it is you like. A little bit is okay, a lot is out.
Sorry to be the bearer of 'bad' news, but you might as well face the facts, beating around the bush wouldn't help you at all.
I am a German citizen, married to a Canadian 29 years, four daughters, one son, seven granddaughters and four grandsons, with one more grandchild on the way in July 2009.
Intolerant to all lectins (including gluten), nightshades (potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant) and salicylates.
Asperger Syndrome, Tourette Syndrome, Addison's disease (adrenal insufficiency), hypothyroidism, fatigue syndrome, asthma
