I get sick after I walk through fields containing grains that celiacs cannot have. I must injest/inhale some of the plant or something without noticing. Once I was so sick I could barely stand up. I have to walk though these fields once in a while for my work. (I can't exactley hold my breath beacuse I have to walk quite a distance and the plants are sometimes taller or the same size as me).
I was just wondering if anyone else has reacted to walking thorugh wheat/oats/barely/rye fields and what you do to avoid getting sick?

You might try wearing one of those surgical/allergy masks. That would limit anything you breathe in. Also try wearing long sleeve shirts and long pants/jeans. I would also maybe wear some cotton gloves. When you get home, take a shower!!
