Hi Everyone,

Is it true that red bull is good to drink after accidental glutenings and to help with brain fog?

I don't know about it helping with the brain fog, but it is gluten free.

I haven't tried it but that makes sense - when I get too much gluten in my system (I'm not diagnosed yet but am undergoing tests & my 5yo DD is Celiac) I get foggy and absolutely CRAVE coffee (and what it does for me).

I don't stock Red Bull normally but will try it next time.

Yes, Red Bull helps, especially if it's just a mild glutening. It doesn't help with the D or any of the GI symptoms, but it helps with the brain fog and the exhaustion. When I get glutened I usually drink Gatorade and Red Bull, coffee and sodas just make the D worse (for me).

I thought the Red Bull effect had to do with the B-vitamins -- or is there something else that helps as well?

      Trying to read my lab results

      Hi Scott, yes I have had symptoms for years and this is the second GI I have seen and he could not believe I have never been tested. He called later today and I am scheduled for an endoscopy. Is there a way to tell how severe my potential celiac is from the results above? What are the chances I will have the biopsy and come back negative and we have to keep...

      Constant low back, abdominal and pelvic pain!

      I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

      Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.
