That's great! I'm glad you came up with something you liked. Sometimes (no, most of the time) we have to get creative and play around with things to get the clost to the taste we remember. :)

I think we spend way to much time trying to MATCH flavors instead of enjoying NEW ones....

Probably so, but I have so many intolerances that sometimes I think that *nothing* tastes like it used to! I've settled for and actually do enjoy things that I didn't previously eat, and try to make the best of it--but there's also a time for "comfort foods". :)

Time to stretch your self and find new comfort foods then. :)

But.. when I went dairy free I went nuts tring to replace Ice Cream (PTL!!! Diary not a issue!!!) so I know exactly what you mean.

Yea--as I remember it, you were the one who posted your Vance's ice cream recipe!! :P

Suggestion that is very tasty!

This is not necessarily about mocha's but I like this alternative as it is quick.

When I put coffee grounds in a coffee maker I add cinnamon and nutmeg to the grounds and then brew as usual!

This is very tasty, and actually I add almond milk to it, even though I am not dairy intolerant.

Suggestion for frothing.....make sure the almond milk is room temperature, not right out of the fridge. If it is too cold, You use all the steam's power just to heat it up!

Just a question- wondering if you are also soy intolerant, as Starbucks offers Soy Milk as an option for their lattes and mochas etc. I found that soy milk worked really well for foaming, back when I was vegan. Rice milk foams less, but has a nice neutral flavor that is especially good with white chocolate for a whilte chocolate mocha. You do have to be careful with rice milk, as at least Rice Dream is sweetened with barley malt. I haven't really experimented with almond milk.

      So, I contacted Scott Adams, the author of that article and also the creator/admin of this website, and pointed out to him the need to clarify the information in the paragraph in question. He has now updated the paragraph and it is clear that the DGP-IGA does serve the purpose of circumventing the false negatives that IGA deficiencies can generate in the tTG-IGA antibody test.

      Has anyone experimenced enlarged lymph nodes with celiac? Both in the neck and groin area. Imaging of both areas have said that lymph nodes are reactive in nature. However, they have been present for months and just wondering how long this may take to go down. Been gluten-free for about two months. Blood counts are normal.

      Hmm interesting I just assumed that any “IGA” tests including the DPG iga would be negative in a person who is IGA deficient but maybe that is not the case for the DPG test.

      If you were just diagnosed I can say that if you go 100% gluten-free should should see dramatic improvement of your symptoms over the next few months, but the hard part is to stay gluten-free. This article has some detailed information on how to be 100% gluten-free, so it may be helpful (be sure to also read the comments section.):
