I'm starting a new medication for my diabetes that is called Symlin.
It's a synthetic hormone that rivals the naturally produced Amylin.
Now I'm having difficulty verifying if this is gluten-free or not.
It is an injected liquid and consists of the following ingredients:
Active: pramlintide acetate
Inactive: metacresol, D-mannitol, acetic acid and sodium acetate
I have a call into the manufacturer but that isn't going so well...
thanks!
