You HAVE to be flexible because of all the other people who are LEFT. Otherwise you are going to be very lonely

I was middlin on that right-left brain stuff. Guess I'm not so inflexible as I thought.

I is wiped. Spent yesterday running around with the pirate getting errands done and checking out docks for space and prices. He found a nice one across the harbor from town - cheaper and quieter than the downtown spots, and he can drive his dinghy to town, park it at the city dock, and walk to work.

Today he hung my pantry door, and the french doors to the sunroom. Took some finagling since my house isn't really straight, and glass isn't inclined to bend. Now I either have to cut a kitty door in the glass, or move the litter boxes. The pirate recommends moving the boxes. At least one for night time use.

Also replaced some weather stripping that Bo chewed through.

Tacos for dinner, and I am regretting that I stopped buying the big boxes of wine as I have none, and there's no way I'm leaving my chair until I head to bed, which will be shortly. Wonder when that blackberry brandy I'm brewing will be ready...

Mickey always said to.

In fact, the Mick gave little choice. "When", not "If" . . ... yet w/out seeming bossy.

Just remodeled my front lawn from a rectangle to a beautiful curve, by eye. Think my right brain had lovely time.

Been meaning to do it for weeks, but I think my left brain looking for a skipping rope to lay out the shape before chopping up the lawn was being overuled by the right.

Thanks Vynnnnsendt for releasing my right brain, look out world

Hey when your RIGHT there is no reason to be flexible! :P

First, no one is totally left-brained or totally right-brained. Just as you have a dominant hand, dominant eye, and even a dominant foot, you probably have a dominant side of the brain. Second, you can and must develop both sides of your brain.

Gee Vincent. It appears it's not a matter of a strong right brain, rather an extremely weak left brain. So sorry

So Loey......your brain isn't confused, it's well balanced ;)

Left brain 11....right brain 8, here.....and proud of it :P

That was Jiminy... . ...and he did actually sound a little bossy....cleverly hiding it all under a comforting lullaby. He really wanted you to wish upon a star.....

I'm pretty sure that in stores, you can find plenty of gluten-free options. But they are usually a bit more expensive.

Hello @BunnyBrown and welcome to the forum. I cannot say that I have had the procedure you describe, but recently I did have general surgery and was routinely intubated.  That pain was what troubled me most after the operation, far more than the operation site.  It took a few days to really settle down, I was quite badly bruised. It was taking so long I was a bit concerned so asked the question on another forum. A few patients came back to me and said they had suffered the same.  I imagine in my own case possibly the throat got bashed about a bit,  maybe they had difficult inserting the tube?  I've suffered with a painful throat post-endoscopy too, but never as long as the intubation pain.   I hope you will be feeling better very soon.   PS BTW - love the name!  I saw this today in an Easter display in a shop and your name reminded me of it.🙂

This wonderful, Anne. I think you have a point about why people disappear off forums.  I found the first few years post diagnosis a real struggle and frankly wondered if I would ever feel better (not to dishearten people, but just to say it can take a while longer for some folk to heal).  However, once my antibodies were back within normal range it really has made a big difference to my health.  I've chosen to stick around because I'm a Mod, otherwise I might have been one of those that disappeared, too!
