I am sure he did/is having a good time. He sent one letter to his mom saying that they stayed up to midnight... but that is it! LOL I guess he knows whats important to experience there!

That is so cute! :D Staying up till midnight is huge at that age.

Yes! We are meeting Susie (and Weez) at Starbucks in the Marina in the morning.

Our return loop will take us south of Lake Mead into Arizona, but after that there is flexibility. Kansas City, St. Louis, and Indianapolis are all possible ports of call.

Really??!! You would want to see little old me?
.....well.....and our other Indy psilly too :P

I could really use a little extra psilly right about now :(

And soooo jealous you get to meet Soozle! Give her a BIG hug from me too  Miss her sooo much! What'd she have to go and get a life for, anyway?

Have been gluten free since April 2008. The only reason I did this was to make cooking at home easier since my husband has been a Celiac since 2000.

As to why I'm called Ward Girl only Nick and I know the reason :-)

11 year-old Son had negative blood panel, but went on gluten-free diet of his own volition to see if his concentration would improve, his temper abate, and his energy level would increase. Miraculous response!

Well we got Timothy back from summer camp, and by the amount of sand and water in his luggage, and his very hoarse voice, I am guessing it was a good trip LOL

Camp nurse said he only complained of one stomach so that is a good sign... He said he only ate the food we sent (sent a big box). So we will see I guess...

We talked a bit about Suzzie's dogs and her cat. We also discussed why she's not been on the board and good old politics. And the most important thing we talked about was our trip and how it came about :)

If your Grand Tour takes you to KC, let me know! I can talk about my dog, too!

KC could work.

We're in Arizona tonight, in a city with 28,000 residents. Limited food options, but we choose a steak place from the AAA book and check it out on the 'net. Family-owned business.

So we are seated, and the server is ready to take our order. I start into my queries, mentioning wheat. Well, she asks if I am a celiac, because she is too. We talked a bit about it. I felt completely safe in her hands. Good food and great service.
