Whatever. You know she was lightening up the backpack by 'sampling' the wine.I was sitting on my doorstep, li'l suitcase in hand.....several bottles of wine in my backpack....waiting and waiting.....

Just voted! Line was long already. I showed up right about 6am as thier were opening and got out about 647am. Line was longer when I left then when I arrived.

The advantages of not working . . . I'm going to go mid-afternoon and avoid all those people trying to vote on their way to work, at lunch, or leaving a tad early to vote on their way home for work. I'm targeting 2:00 pm. Four years ago, there was still a pretty darn good line at that time.
I'll be glad when this is over . . . I'm sick of the ads and I'm sick of the phone calls.

I hear ya, Jan-it. I plan to go mid morning for the same reason.
Wonder of wonders, there are actually a few boxes of Junior Mints left.
We had lots of kids last night--I was curious to see what would happen with it being postponed but it actually felt like Halloween.
Yes--the ads, and phone calls pertaining to the elections. Will not miss those at all!!

Keepin' me outta the wine... . . ...all I can say is, the raincheck better be soon....
Since the big forum re-vamp, I have found the pages on here taking a VERY long time to load..... .. . .and it ain't my computer, as other sites I can zip through. Anyone else finding this?
I also notice that threads on the topics page can be labelled "HOT". Interestingly, Psillyville is always HOT, it seems. But then, that's no surprise....jus' lookit the regular contributors.....

Mine takes longer to load too, Em. I use Firefox, tried Chrome but that didn't help.
Just voted--didn't take long--only one lady ahead of me. Mark went before work, and had a short wait.

We voted by mail. You can also vote for several weeks a head of time at many locations. Love it! Friend said she dropped a kid at high school about 8 and then voted. 45 minutes.

I am predicting "to close to call" to night, and a long drawn out post election battle. Have been predicting that for months now. Time to test my prediction i guess.
