I am traveling too tomorrow and am afraid of getting ill myself. I plan on bring some things with me that I know are safe. Thai kitchen instant soups, rice cakes, peanut butter, unsalted peanuts. Rice cakes and peanut butter, to me, are good since they have protein and manage to stay with me for awhile.
I also am bringing some pepto bismul, altoids and peppermint tea. Peppermint is good for stomach cramps and altoids have pure peppermint oil in them.
I hope this helps!

"What's your problem?"
"I hate having diahrreah on the trail."

I think that sums it up nicely. :-)
