Does anyone know of a hair coloring product [either used in a salon or over the counter] that is gluten-free? My hairdresser has asked her sales representative, but has found nothing. She is wonderful because her Grandmother is also a celiac so she understands the problem, but we can't find anything that works.

Beginning in March I started experiencing the total body itchyness. I am gluten-free now both for foods and skin products. My only problem now is everytime I get my hair colored I have a week of itchyness.

You could try henna. It won't lighten your hair, but can be used for shades of red and brown. It's a great conditioner (you can even get colorless henna just for conditioning) and is very easy on the hair. It's not permanent, however, and washes out naturally after about five weeks.

I believe, but am not positive, that Logics brand hair color is gluten-free. You should check to be sure. Kim.

Thanks. I'll pass that information on to my hair stylist.
My Wild Word from Wild Women calendar says: "The heck with the natural look. Where would Marilyn Monroe be if she'd clung to the hair color God gave her? We'd have a movie called "Gentlemen Prefer Mousy Brown Hair."

I just checked with my hair stylist, and she uses Logics, and it isn't gluten-free. If anyone else knows of anything please let me know! Thanks.
