How Long Does It Take To Get Biopsy Results?

will I know tomorrow when i wake up or is it a send of to a lab type result?

The doctor can tell you what he saw during the scope, but the biopsy (ask for 6 - 8 samples) will have to be sent off to be tested.

Usually takes a week or 2 for the results to come back.

I just wanted to add to be sure that you have someone with you who can relay what the doctor will tell you.
I remember him being present, but have no recall what he told me.

I have never been a fan of biopsies...you can have one come back normal and you can still have celiac..it can rule celiac in but not out.
