Do you know anyone with celiac who finally gained weight after undergoing a hysterectomy or chemotherapy? I am not officially diagnosed with celiac, but a dr. thinks it's a possibility. Years ago - in the late 90's - I was losing weight over the years. I then had ovarian cancer and had a hysterectomy (and ovaries out). I also started chemo a month later. What amazed me was, after years and years of losing weight steadily, I suddenly went from 82 pouds (I'm 5 feet) to 98 within 2-3 months of the surgery! So, I was back to my normal weight. My weight stayed in the 90's while on chemo. Then once chemo ended, slowly over the year my weight went back to 86 and has been there since. Ever heard of this? Thanks
