I shop at Nutrition S'Mart in the Carrollwood area. Abby's has some additional products that they don't carry at the other store and they are near each other, both on Dale Mabry. We also have a Wild Oats but I found them to be expensive and they really didn't have anything that I couldn't find elsewhere for cheaper. There is a Whole Foods in Sarasota which is 1 1/2 hours away. I love a few things they have and make trips there every once in a while.
I don't eat out but we have all the Outback restaurants. There is a support group that meets every other month on the second Saturday at 1pm at the Jimmy B Keel Library on Bearss. The next meeting is Feb 10th. There were a lot of people there that eat our regularly so they could help with restaurants.
If he has any specific questions or needs any other help, please pm me and I'll be happy to do what I can.
