Hey everyone,

Have any of you heard of celiac axis compression syndrome? I have no idea if it is related to celiac disease, but I do know it can be related to gastroparesis (which I have -- very debilitating). I am having trouble finding much info on it, so if anyone knows anything, or knows where best to search, please respond or email me off line (brcoats72@hotmail.com).

Thanks so much!!

Celiac, gastroparesis, PCOD, heart problems, pacemaker.

Diagnosed 7-12-04 via bloodwork. Never had a biopsy, doc didn't think it was necessary (said I would know just by going gluten-free).

gluten-free two weeks after diagnosis (and my last bag of Oreos). :-)

Wow I would like some information on it as well...do you know what exactly it is? Because I think i may possibly have it...I have this unexplained stomach blockage sort of thing...it's hard to explain and the doctors don't even know what it is or what caused it. Is this a blockage that you are talking about?

i don't think it is related to celiac disease. there is an internal structure in the body that goes by the name "celiac something-or-other". someone posted about it last year because they thought it was funny that they had a problem with this (?) body part that was labeled celiac but was not connected to celiac disease.
