I was just wondering if bad breath can be caused by celiac disease. My husband's breath is quite bad at times. It can smell exactly like horse manure sometimes. He blames it on his sinuses. Sometimes it does smell like it could be his sinuses. But I don't want to have a face-to-face conversation sometimes because I can smell his breath from a few feet away. Sometimes when we are riding in the car together his breath stinks up the car. I don't usually say anything to him since he can't do anything about it. I was just wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences?

Possibly, but it can be a lot of other things. His sinuses could be a problem, so could his dental health (flossing daily is very helpful to keeping breath from being nasty), and a number of stomach and intestinal problems can contribute to it. It can, however, be the sign of a problem, and he should talk to his doctor about it further.
