I'm thinking of buying this, it has a gluten free cycle, from what I understand it's the only bread machine that has this, if you own it I would love to hear what you think
thanks!

Hi Betty,
I got a Breadman for Christmas and I really love it. It's nice to have a soft warm loaf of bread. If you search under the cooking and baking section you will find discussions on it, but everyone seems to lean towards the Zorsushi (sp).
I figured I may use it twice and never use it again so I decided on going with a less expensive option 'Breadman', but I am happy with it.
It does take some figuring out though.
So far I have only used the mixes and really like Pamela's Wheat Free but you can't use the gluten free setting, it won't work right. I also made Bob Red Mills mix (thought it was disgusting, too beany tasting, yuck) but I used the gluten free setting and it wasn't cooked all the way so I had to bake it longer.
If you end up getting one I will give you the low-down on using Pamelas Wheat free without the gluten-free cycle. BTW, Pamelas was great at helping me use the right setting for my Breadman with their bread mix! Maybe the gluten-free setting would be good to use if you use the recipes that come with their book... but it is pretty easy to use.
Everything on this dang diet has to come with a learning curve :-)
Good luck!
Cindy
