oh i'm so glad this thread popped back up! i have no one to talk to about Grey's...until now! i love Thursday nights...between Survivor, The Office and Grey's - ah, TV heaven B)

i don't have an issue with a lesbian storyline but i cringed every time i saw Callie and Erica together. i was not sad at all to see b%$@#y Dr. Hahn leave town. i'm not so sure about the potential pairing with Sadie either. she's hiding something major.

i am sick to death with Denny. i'm sorry...i know many people loved the character and the storyline but it's so far-fetched to see Izzie talking to him and blowing off work to have fake sex in the on-call room. move on already. he's dead!

haha, other than those things...i love the show! i'm interested to see what happens with Mark and "Little Grey". that could get messy.

ok here we are still where george just got married with dr. Tores, Berk and christina plan to get married and Derek is happy that Meredith survived from the sea accident. I am making a great effort not to read the thread and see what is happening next.......

But I LOVE that series. There is a group in facebook that is named "sshhhh.....grey's anatomy is on!" I think the name of the group says it all.

No inside information but my predictions:

1) "Little Grey" will take what she learned ("teach me") and make another attempt at George.

2) The Denny storyline is a way to remove Izzy from the show after this season.

Ooh, how do you think that would get Izzy off the show? I can't believe she can still see Denny. I thought, "Oh, she can see him" at first, kind of neat. Now it is just gross! They need to drop that. And yes, I too, was happy to see Dr. Hahn hightail it out of there! She made me grouchy. :)

i wonder if they'll take a cue from the world of soap operas and make Izzie "crazy" and have her committed. it could happen if they're going if they keep up this ridiculous "i see dead people" (aka Denny) storyline. ugh.

oh and i'm loving Christina and the new doc. she needs someone like him to keep her in line. i was never much of a Burke fan.

Yep--I think so too. I was just saying to my husband (we watch it together :P ) that she is having a breakdown and won't be back next year.

Still dealing with this rash on my legs. I've eliminated ringworm (through use of topical ointments). And I also know it's not shingles, as I've never had chickenpox before and I'm still fairly young. Through a lot of online research, I'm leaning more towards dermatitis herpetiformis, eczema, or psoriasis. I've actually got a doctor's appointment in May (finally got some insurance) and I'm going to bring it up then. I'm feeling really hopeful and excited to maybe be getting some relief soon.   Big thanks to everyone for the suggestions and positive thoughts!

You have three celiac disease specific antibody tests that are positive: Endomysial  Antibody IGA (aka, EMA), tTG-IGA, and tTG_IGG. Furthermore, your Immunoglobulin A at 55 is low, meaning you are IGA deficient. This one is not an antibody test for celaic disease per se but a measure of "total IGA" levels and if low (yours is low) it can suppress the individual antibody scores and even cause false negatives. So, yes, it definitely looks like you have celiac disease.   Do not yet begin a gluten free diet as your physician may refer you to a GI doc for an endoscopy/biopsy of the small bowel lining for confirmation of the antibody testing. This may help:

Hi, I received my labs via email yesterday and have not heard back from my doctor yet. Can anyone tell me if these results indicate I have Celiac?      Endomysial Antibody IgAPositive  Ft-Transglutaminase (tTG) IgA6  H0-3 (U/mL) - Negative 0 - 3 - Weak Positive 4 - 10 - Positive >10 - Tissue Transglutaminase (tTG) has been identified as the endomysial antigen. Studies have demonstrated that endomysial IgA antibodies have over 99% specificity for gluten-sensitive enteropathy. FImmunoglobulin A, Qn, Serum55  L87-352 (mg/dL) Ft-Transglutaminase (tTG) IgG183  H0-5 (U/mL) - Negative 0 - 5 - Weak Positive 6 - 9 - Positive >9

Mine is definitely triggered by inflammation and stress! I do also have arthritis in my spine, but the pain is more in my pelvic area. Im sure i have other food intolerances or other autoimmune isues but the more I focus on it and see doctor after doctor, it just gets worse.  Best thing is get of Gluten! (I also avoid lactose). Try to limit stress and anything that causes inflammation in your body.

Good morning,   I got an email about replies to this post. Some of my doctors had blamed a slipped disc for the pain I had and that contributes, but after meeting with a gastroenterologist AGAIN and trying some lifestyle modifications, I found out I have IBS and can't tolerate corn or excessive fructose to any degree. Cutting out corn AFTER having cut out all gluten containing products was a real pain but I feel much better now!
