Today some one told me about Glycol nutrients. It is made by Mannatech and is to be very successful in healing the body repair itself on the celluar level. I've look at their websit but couldn't find much. I did however see a FQ&A from some one that stated, "I can not have gluten, is your product gluten-free?". Their reply was a little strange, some are but some aren't.

I'm just curious if others have used their product (s) and which ones. Have they helped etc? They are to be expensive so I don't want to waste my money if no one has heard of this before or used it.

Someone sent me a link to this board where there was a discussion about Mannatech. I joined just so I could respond. I highly recommend getting back with your friend who told you about Mannatech. My son was celiac at the age of 18 months when it was diagnosed and we were gluten free for two years. Occasionally he'd get something with gluten in it and he'd swear he'd never eat "wheat" again due to the stomach pain and bowel movements.

Well, we were turned onto mannatech mostly because my daughter had an extreme LD (auditory processing) and I learned that two of the "sugars" (not like table sugar... monosaccharides.... creates communication at the cell level) were wiring sugars for the brain and I figured I'd "try" it. We had amazing results, not all at once but over the past 3 years. In addition, my son no longer has symptoms when he eats gluten. I've had him blood tested twice as being symptom free, but still being celiac can be very damaging to the gut. His tests show negative

Now, what I believe is that being gluten free FIRST allowed the intestines a break and a chance to repair; so when we put the communication system for the body, plus enzymes and good bacteria in his sytem the body was no longer reactive. It was able to balance and not be reactive to gluten. This is not a cure. It is nutrition that allows the body to perform at its individual highest. I've turned other friends onto it and it has eased their situations as well. Once again, not a cure, simply nutrition

Everybody is different, but nutrition is the key to health and dis-ease. I'm grateful someone started me on my path to education.

All the Best,

Hollyally

Anybody else try this stuff? It's expensive and it's a MLM type product which I guess doesn't necessarily make it bad.....

I take the Ambertose (4xday). My aunt has sold it for a long time and really believes in the research behind it. I take as well as many other supplements in addition to the gluten-free diet, so it's hard to say exactly what has made the most difference in my overall health.

Hi Scott, yes I have had symptoms for years and this is the second GI I have seen and he could not believe I have never been tested. He called later today and I am scheduled for an endoscopy. Is there a way to tell how severe my potential celiac is from the results above? What are the chances I will have the biopsy and come back negative and we have to keep searching for a cause?

I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

"her stool study showed she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that." The wording of this part of the sentence does not make any sense at all. I don't mean to insult you, but is English your first language? This part of the sentence sounds like it was generated by translation software.

What kind of stool test was done? Can you be more specific?
    • mishyj
Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.
