Actually I have a very important question for anyone who has had the experience of traveling abroad with Celiacs disease. My husband and I are traveling to Europe in the spring to see our daugher and her husband. What do you suggest I do about eating? Communications may be a problem. And what about the flight? I am very anxious about the food. I certainly don't want to feel badly as we travel about the country. I have done very well since my diagnosis 2 years ago and don't mind watching everyone eat bread. I just think of it as POISON to me and my system and that makes it very easy to pass up.
Does anyone know about shampoos and creams affecting us? I wondered about the proteins in many products. Not to mention all the vitamins and supplements that have starch (not specified as wheat or corn) in them.
I have million questions.
Thanks
Carole
