I haven't been able to find a clarifying shampoo that is gluten and legume free. We have hard water so I need to use a clarifying shampoo like every other week or at least once a month to remove minerals otherwise my hair feels hard and acts weird.

Does anyone know of one? I have looked for a long time for one but haven't been able to find any.

Thanks for any reply!
One Celiac gene and one gluten intolerance gene (HLA-DQ 2,1).
Grain free, casein free, soy/legume free + a bunch of allergies I have had since I was a child (stone fruits, nuts..carrots)
Following the Specific Carbohydrate Diet, but no nuts, legumes or casein.

Hi,

I'm not sure about which clarifying shampoos you could use, but I do know that a rinse in vinegar-water works really well for clarifying. Apple cider or white vinegar both work just as good as far as I can tell, plus your hair will be really soft afterwards when it dries. ;)

I have tried Apple Cider Vinager and it works some, but not enough (we have really hard water!). I also have a problem with the smell. For some reason it stays in my hair several days even if I shampoo. Very strange.
Thanks for the suggestion though. :)
