I just received my 3yr old daughters celiac panel test results back and her doctor stated he has never seen results this high.
Antigliadin Abs, IgG 63
t-Transglutaminase (tTG) IgG 1
Immunoglobulin A, On, Serum 47
Im not really sure what all this means, Dr said he is sure she has celiac disease and is sending us to a Gastro. Can someone please help me understand what these numbers mean? Thank you in advance for your help..

I think that you'll have to compare these numbers to the "reference range" on the report(s) - the way the numbers and ranges are expressed can vary depending on the lab your doctor used, and/or the country the tests were performed in.
Celiac diagnosis from positive blood work & endoscope (2005)
Serologic equivalent: HLA-DQ 2,3 Subtype 2,8 (double Celiac genes)

Hi Rick,
Welcome to this board! Sounds like you have come to the right place, as I am sure this is very worrisome for you right now. There are lots of parents here with little ones with celiac, especially on the section for parents on the forum.
I can't help to much with the numbers, and yes, you need the references of "normal" for comparison. There are lots of people here that are very familiar with those tests and the results, hopefully you'll hear from them soon.

4/2007 Positive IGA, TTG Enterolab results, with severe malabsorption: Two DQ2 celiac genes--highest possible risk.
gluten-free since 4/22/07; SF since 7/07; 3/08 & 7/08 high sugar levels in stool (i.e. cannot break down carbs) digestive enzymes for carbs didn't help; 7/18/08 started SCD as prescribed by my physician (MD).
10/2000 dx LYME disease; 2008 clinical dx CELIAC; Other: hypothyroid, allergies, dupuytrens, high mercury levels
