Are OATS ever a hidden ingredient, under "natural flavors" or any other silly name, or will oat always appear in the ingredients clearly?

(in case it matters... we live in USA)

I'm guessing it's not a hidden ingredient. Usually flavorings are spices, or chemicals that for instance make something taste like strawberry but not actually using strawberries. There's a big lab/factory that comes up with these flavorings. I wouldn't think oats has enough flavor to be used under natural flavors because it doesn't have enough flavor to lend. Natural flavors are usually one of the last ingredients. I've never heard of it being used for MSG.
