I've been searching websites for a rice flake cereal kind of like Special K. It needs to be unsweetened for use in my families favorite special occasion casserole. Has anyone found such a product? I have found some with berries, are the flakes sweetened? I'm thinking maybe I could just pick out the berries and use just the flakes if there is not a plain variety. I have found some puffed cereals but I do not think they would work as well for my recipe. Thanks for any help.

All's I know of is Arrowhead Mills brand. I think they are sweetened though. You'd have to try a box and see if it was too sweet.

Arrowhead Mills makes a berry-free rice flake cereal. It is lightly sweetened, but I doubt it's much sweeter than Special K (which contains sweetner in the form of high fructose corn syrup).
