I am traveling from Texas to Chesapeake, VA. This may be a long shot, but can anyone give me any direction/ideas for a good place to shop/restaurants to go to?

Hey Karen,

I live out here. And the grocery store list on that site is good, but those restaurants...most of them won't have a clue what you are talking about if you walk in and ask for a Gluten Free menu. Be prepared to take one in with you that you have printed off the web. I recommend just doing the ones we all know. There are several Outbacks, a PF Changs, Cheeseburger in Paradise, and I have had good luck with Unos in Norfolk...oh, and Nawab.

If you can grocery shop as far as Williamsburg, Ukrops is the best. They have potato salad, cucumber salads, tuna salads in their deli area that are all clearly marked gluten free. Otherwise most (not all) Farm Fresh and Kroger stores have a good section of gluten-free foods. And by the way, Farm Fresh carries Redbridge in their cold beer section.

      Trying to read my lab results

      Hi Scott, yes I have had symptoms for years and this is the second GI I have seen and he could not believe I have never been tested. He called later today and I am scheduled for an endoscopy. Is there a way to tell how severe my potential celiac is from the results above? What are the chances I will have the biopsy and come back negative and we have to keep...

      Constant low back, abdominal and pelvic pain!

      I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.
