Is it gluten free..........my heartburn is causing terrible symptoms!

Yes, it is!

Pepto Bismol is the treatment they first start you with when treating collagenous colitis. (Only they give you massive doses!)

positive bloodwork, positive biopsy
Celiac, collagenous colitis, hypothyroidism
endometriosis (at age 20)
spinal stenosis (early 20's)

Biopsy August 2006 confirmed complete villous atrophy despite being gluten-free for years and bloodwork within range showing compliance with diet. Doctor has confirmed diagnosis of Refractory Celiac Sprue.
Endoscopy also showed numerous stomach ulcers, have started taking Losec.

Wayne,

I just checked on a 2007 list and it was not included. But that does not indicate that is is not gluten free. I take Prilosec OTC and Omepresol (sp)- scrip. Mylanta, is in my fridge. I cannot insure that it is gluten free, but it would not been in there if at some time I realized that it was not good to go.

I have lost my ability to "know" products, I now rely on labeling. But, I have to admit, make-up, shampoos, lipstick, lotions are hard to decipher.
