Hello - I am new to the gluten free diet and was wondering if lotions and/or creams with gluten (i.e. oatmeal) in them need to be avoided? I have extremely dry skin, especially at this time of year, and the only lotion that works is one with oatmeal in it. I have been doing well on the gluten-free diet and then my boyfriend questioned my lotion the other day. I would hate to be going through the whole diet and then ruining it with the lotion. Thanks in advance for any help!

In my opinion you should not use it. You put lotion on your hands then touch your food or dishes then they are possibly contaminated.
