Yummy Gf Christmas Treat

I'm not sure how many have heard of this family favorite of ours but we refer to it as "puppy" chow. (chex cereal covered in chocolate, peanut butter and powdered sugar).

But I've tried my hand at a gluten-free version and it turned out really tastey! So for those who'd like a little christmas munchy for you or your kids give this recipe a whirl! (Please note, its certainly not calorie free!)

Gorilla Munch Cereal (Gluten free, and found my local Kroger, or Whole Foods grocery stores)

Melt down chocolate chips and peanut butter in a small sauce pan. Add as much as you desire of the Gorilla munch until it is completely coated with the peanut butter and chocolate.

Take a brown paper sack or ziplock baggy, fill it with powdered sugar, Add the coated cereal. Seal the bag and shake like crazy to coat the cereal with the powder sugar.

Empty the contents into a serving bowl, and there you have it.. "puppy chow". Its quite tasty, just not calorie free I'm afraid! :)

Enjoy!

Health Valley makes gluten-free corn crunch-em and rice crunch-ems that are a one-to-one substitute for chex, if that would help.

Hi Scott, yes I have had symptoms for years and this is the second GI I have seen and he could not believe I have never been tested. He called later today and I am scheduled for an endoscopy. Is there a way to tell how severe my potential celiac is from the results above? What are the chances I will have the biopsy and come back negative and we have to keep searching for a cause?

I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

"her stool study showed she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that." The wording of this part of the sentence does not make any sense at all. I don't mean to insult you, but is English your first language? This part of the sentence sounds like it was generated by translation software.

What kind of stool test was done? Can you be more specific?

Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.
