When I found out my biopsy results I was very sad at first. I was thinking... this will be something I have to deal with my entire life and it was hard to comprehend at first... But then I realized that I could have had it much worse and even though it was going to be tough, I would still be able to enjoy life.

When I was diagnosed, I decided that I was not going to let the gluten free diet be boring. So, I did a ton of research, got a lot of gluten free cookbooks, joined the Canadian Celiac Association, went to a nutritionist, and of course came to this site! Now I make/have whatever I want (gluten free of course) stirfries, casseroles, pizza, pies, curry, stuffing, cookies, and now that I got a food processor for Christmas I'm going to make a lot more!
