Science fair was on thursday, stopped collecting results a week ago, sorry to they people who didn't get their data in. Purpose
To understand the relationship between celiac disease and type 1 diabetes.

Hypothesis:
I think that 10% of celiacs also have type 1 diabetes.

Materials:
Computer with Internet access
Paper
Pencils
Surveys
Tally Sheet

Procedure:
Create a survey
Distribute the survey to celiac support groups and online message boards
Tally and analyze the results

Conclusion:
My hypothesis was close, but a little high
9% of celiacs who completed my survey also have
type 1 diabetes
Possible bias:
1. More diabetics are being tested for celiac disease
2. More females join support groups
3. Family members answered for other members with celiac disease
Further Research:
Where is the celiac gene found?
Where is the diabetes gene found?

Results:
I received 398 survey responses
9% of the celiacs also have type 1 diabetes
44% of the people with celiac and diabetes are men, and 56% are women
7% of the females I received responses from have celiac and diabetes
16% of the men I received responses from have celiac and diabetes
This is my whole project, thanks a lot!
