I need some help. From the beginning of dealing with my son's recent diagnosis of celiac disease (since late Dec '03), I have read to stay away from products with MSG. Now I am confused.... the book, "Gluten Free Diet... A Comprehensive Resource Guide", by Shelley Case, states that MSG is okay. Other literature I have read state that MSG should be avoided or that the individual needs to make their own decision about taking it. Also, some of the companies I have contacted to inquire if their product is gluten-free state that "it is" when MSG is an ingredient. I am so confused and need some clarification. I want to do what is best for my son but also do not want to exclude some foods he may be able to eat -- if ok. Thanks for your help.
