Problems With Chicken

I've been trying to ignore the very likely possibility that chicken is a problem for me & I'm wondering:

For anyone who has been found to be intolerant or allergic to chicken, what are your symptoms?

It seems that when I exclude chicken from my diet, my bm's are much better. Maybe it's just my imagination, but it seems to interfere with my digestion. I'm going to keep testing this for myself, but I'd like to know how it affects those of you who have issues with it.

Thanks,

k

I have issues with chicken that's not organic. Organic chicken is seemingly ok for me.

I chalk that up to all the antibiotics, sterioids and the corn that they feed to them.

The "regular" chicken tears me up! The only way I'll eat chicken now is if it's organic.

My son gets brain fog from chicken.I was not sure what can be the reason for his brain fog.He is very careful with what he eats and he pointed out chicken him self.He did not have chicken for one week and his brainfog disapeared when we reintroduce chicken again the brain fog came back.He does not eat chicken and he is himself again.

I buy either Kosher chicken or Bell and Evans. The regular supermarket brands give me problems--I get gas and cramps and before I was farther along in my recovery, D.

It could be that you are reacting to something like the antibiotics/hormones or the feed--or you could be intolerant to chicken.

I'd wait a few days and try simply cooked organic or Kosher chicken and see how you do with that.

Sounds good.

I'll try organic / Kosher chicken in a while, after a period of time not eating chicken at all. I'll do a mini elimination.

Thanks guys :)

Hi Scott, yes I have had symptoms for years and this is the second GI I have seen and he could not believe I have never been tested. He called later today and I am scheduled for an endoscopy. Is there a way to tell how severe my potential celiac is from the results above? What are the chances I will have the biopsy and come back negative and we have to keep searching for a cause?

I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

"her stool study showed she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that." The wording of this part of the sentence does not make any sense at all. I don't mean to insult you, but is English your first language? This part of the sentence sounds like it was generated by translation software.

What kind of stool test was done? Can you be more specific?

Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.
