So I couldnt make it to my doctors appointment I've been waiting 2 months for because I dont have the money to get there!

I've been trying really hard to stay gluten free, but I'm pretty sure I've gotten CC a few times going out and in my new environment, but for the most part I've really really been avoiding gluten and am gettig a very good grasp on what products I can and cant eat.. My lower digestive problems (diarhea and especially gas are almost completely gone I'd say 98% better) Now it seems like my stomach is acting up worse and worse along with more frequent Constipation and dry stools, and I wonder if I should just stick to a completely bland diet again for a couple months or so?

Here's the new things I've tried that I think may be aggrevating my stomach (ok I know they are not healthy, but I dont eat them all the time and consider them a treat.): Misson white corn tortillas, planters peanuts, wise potato chips and bakers chocolate. At first, the corn tortillas gave me no problem, but now I'm noticing that after eating them I start feeling tired, headace (more like migrane) and sometimes naucious with pain in my stomach. ANd I was so happy when I found out they were gluten free too :(

Also, I used to driink OJ every morning, and I'm talking every morning almost everyday of my life with NO problems (accept if I had it with bread) Now the OJ really bothers me (even alone) to the point I dont even crave it! And tomato sauce: I used to love it even though it always bothered me, now its 10 times worse :(

I feel like the only thing I can succesfully eat (plain)is brown rice, Tinkyada pasta, Bobs red mill creamy rice cereal and small amounts of plain chicken breast and plain brussel sprouts/broccoli(cooked well, raw veggies, especialy carrots give me D or C). If I add butter or miricle whip to anything its HEARTBURN and nasea :( and the heartburn comes hours after (sometimes soon after) and I'll even have it when I'm hungry. My stomach will be growling, but yet I'll be burping and I'll feel like something is coming up in my chest. SO FRUSTRATING!!! I hate having to be stuck to eating nothing but plain rice, chicken and cooked veggies b/c I know I need a healthy amount of fats. Even olive oil will bother me. I've tried rolaids, they take the burning away, but I still feel like what I eat wants to come back up, bouncing back and forth between my stomach and lower throat. I dont want to go on medicine for it b/c I truly believe in solving things naturally.

also when first going gluten-free I could eat KASHA successsfully as a hot breafast cereal, now it is very hard for me to digest, it just sits in my stomach :(

is all of this normal??? or may I have another stomach issue going on??? I've also been having menstrual problems, so sometimes it's hard to distiguish where the discomfort is coming from.

As you read more and more in this forum....you'll realize that you are not alone...nor abnormal. I would suggest that you read other posts related to what you are going through. Many of us have worse symptoms at first until we heal the inflammation and learn what our bodies accept as food and what it does not. Sometimes you will have other intolerances besides gluten.....either temporarily or permanently. For several months there was very little that I could eat that didn't make me feel ill. Actually, everything I ate made me feel sick. Even at this point, my diet is somewhat limited...but not as much as before. Perhaps you should develope a simple, basic diet until you feel better and then add types of food one at a time. Keep a diary of your foods and reactions so that you can keep trac and see the patterns.

You need patience with your body...it's been through a lot and still has a way to go before you feel healthy. Some people get there very quickly...some take a long time. Keep reading and learning...the time is well spent. Good luck and good health

thanks. I have been reading other posts about this. I guess I'm just in denial once in a while since I havent had any doctor diagnosis and my family thinks I'm just going through another "health kick" phase. I'm definitly not getting any support from them, I mean, they recognize it but will never realize the changes I'm going through and now that I tell them I cant eat other foods like soy/dairy/corn they just think I'm being rediculous. I have family member that love to cok and bake and want to make gluten-free foods for me, but they want to make cookies and processed stuff that isnt agreeing with me right now to begin with. They have good intentions, but they dont realize how stict I have to be with CC. I had an aunt that offered me chicken wings, and I said, well I dont know what is in the sauce and what else was fried in the the same oil and she responded "well you could just rinse them off" ugh! and they want me to trust them in making baked goods? lol

it's really hard- I'm so glad this forum is here! I know it will get easier, it will just take time.

I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

"her stool study showed she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that." The wording of this part of the sentence does not make any sense at all. I don't mean to insult you, but is English your first language? This part of the sentence sounds like it was generated by translation software.

What kind of stool test was done? Can you be more specific?

Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.

My daughter has celiac disease and has had for a long time. She fell loses strictly gluten-free diet and recently got rid of all cutting boards in any gluten in her house at all. She just had a stool test and it came back showing of gigantic response to gluten in her diet. What could be going on since she doesn't eat any gluten and is very careful about any kind of hidden glue? Help!
