Does anyone know if Pantene's Pro V total control gel is gluten free? Nothing stood out on the label. I called the company and they said they would label wheat and wheat extract. I couldn't get them to say that barley, rye, and oats are also clearly labeled. She even said that if I wanted to know if one of these was contained in the fragrance that I would need to have a doctor write a letter to request research of the product.

Or, I'd appreciate any suggestions for a gluten free hair gel. It's not for me, but rather my 9yr old son.

Thanks!!

If I got a response like this from a company then I wouldn't ever touch another product they make.

I am not positive but I think Burts Bees make a hair get that is safe.

A lot of Garnier products are safe for us--I don't use a gel, but I use their Smoothing Milk daily.

You can call them and ask--they've always been very friendly and professional when I've called them.

Here's their number--1-800-442-7643.

Korres makes a couple of gluten-free products-- there is the yucca soft shine wax as well as a product for curly hair and a leave in spray conditioner.

If you go back a few pages, you can find the post.

Good luck!
