Went to new dr. Did complete blood workup to try and figure out why I am continually gaining weight, have swollen feet/ankles, and pain upon rising after sitting for 30 or more minutes. Bloodwork was perfect. He believes my metabolism has slowed way down even tho I am not even 50 yet!!! I believe after being malnourished for so long, my body is holding on to absolutely everything that it takes in and doesn't want to burn it up!! Anyway, I will be starting Adipex tomorrow to give myself a jump start to get control of this, along with exercise and careful eating. Anyone taken this? Thanks!
