I am having a dilemma. I bought Jennie-o turkey meatballs Italian style from the store because surprisingly no obvious gluten containing ingredients. I looked on their website and couldnt find this product but I dont know if its been updated and its too late to call them.

Anyone else know if they always list gluten?

Thanks

I agree with you, they say they have the gluten free certification, but I have not seen it on all the products on this list. I don't think they have updated their website in a long time, but regardless here is what the website says:

Do you have a listing of JENNIE-O TURKEY STORE

Be aware that Jennie-O products may contain lactose and/or lactic acid. I am severely and permanently lactose intolerant and Jennie-O products give me severe diarrhea.

They are a Hormel company so they should list gluten.

Thanks, I called them this morning and they are gluten free! They are also soy, dairy, and egg free.

She said that they are trying to update and revamp their website and their labeling on their products and that they always list gluten clearly on the label.

Anyone had any bad experiences with the ground turkey? It is supposed to be gluten-free/CF. Open Original Shared Link

My son and I both got sick last night within an hour of having dinner and this is the only thing that we both ate. I cooked it on clean aluminum foil so it wasn't contaminated in cooking. Hubby didn't get sick so it wasn't spoiled.

Hi Scott, yes I have had symptoms for years and this is the second GI I have seen and he could not believe I have never been tested. He called later today and I am scheduled for an endoscopy. Is there a way to tell how severe my potential celiac is from the results above? What are the chances I will have the biopsy and come back negative and we have to keep searching for a cause?

I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

"her stool study showed she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that." The wording of this part of the sentence does not make any sense at all. I don't mean to insult you, but is English your first language? This part of the sentence sounds like it was generated by translation software.

What kind of stool test was done? Can you be more specific?
    • mishyj
Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.
