It could be your metabolism is fast so it requires you to then have more calories.
Also could there be gluten slipping in through any shampoos or lotions, etc? Try to go through and see if any products or foods could be slipping in. Hope you find it out soon

I weigh less than I used to before getting sick with celiac disease. I also eat tons of food and never gain a pound. (Although I have always been that way). It's kind of weird I guess. Maybe Vote4PresBush04 idea is right in that we may have high metabolisms. I'd also check all your products for hidden gluten just in case

I agree have your products checked. If you are not eating anything with gluten maybe a product of yours is giving you trouble.
I have a fast metabolism. I can eat and eat and not put on much weight. It just means we have to eat more. I eat about 500-700 more calories than I would normally eat and I've been able to gain weight. I finally am up to what I was before I got sick. Try eating high calorie foods and if your not gaining weight eat more. If you still can't gain weight my guess would be maybe some gluten might be slipping into your system. Keep me updated Lisa and I'll talk to you soon

Hi,
I have the same problem as alot of you. I wrote in another post. I was diagnosed with Celiac Sprue when I was about 3. That would have been about 1971. I don't ever remember them telling me it was Celiac disease though. They just always called it Malabsorbtion. From what my parents tell me, I was starving to death and they didn't know why. Anyway, I've been thin all of my life and always trying to gain weight. Nothing really works that I can find. I try to stay as gluten-free as possible, but should probably keep a better eye on it. I travel alot and it's hard to stay completely gluten-free on the road. I am taking a vaction for the next several months because of some family problems and I'm going to really try to watch my diet and other things that I may come in contact with and see if this makes any difference. By the way, what is Graves disease? Thanks.
