Just curious about message counting. There seems to be a difference in how the number of messages an individual posts are counted now. One number for each thread? Sometimes I see the same number of posts of 2 or more messages.

Just thought I would check by replying to my own message to see if it's also 733.

Nope -- different numbers -- must be the lack of a wisdom tooth that was pulled yesterday!

The number of posts that you have made (for you at this instance: 735) gets carried over to every post you've ever made. It's just your running total. The only benefit that I know of is that once you've hit 501 posts, you can add a caption under your avatar . . . go to my controls . . . edit personal profile . . . custom member title.
Ouch on the tooth!!!
