What does pinned mean? I posted a message in Family and Loved ones. I can see the post on the opening screen of all the boards but when I go to that one board it isn't there. Does that have to do with pinned? How does something get pinned?

Yes, it has to do with pinning. New topics are unpinned until a moderator reads them. Once a moderator sees the new topic, they review it to make sure that it adheres to board rules and is in the correct place. If appropriate, it will be moved. Then it will be pinned.

I have just pinned your topic in Friends and Loved Ones, and this one too.

Although this process usually is fairly quick, sometimes it can take a while, especially at certain times.

Boy, I could see where that would solve a lot of problems before they even begin. I have been involved with other hobby/nutrition boards and this a new one on me. Never too old to learn something new.
