I still cant figure out what the hell is going on. I was drinking Rice Dream for a year and just stopped cause i found out it might have trace amounts of gluten. i then switched to Trader Joes Rice milk (which is 100% gluten-free) and im still experiencing constipation. im starting to think its not even a gluten related problem, but something in the rice milk itself. could it be the vitamins its fortified with? only other ingredients are water, Rice, expeller (safflower/canola oil). When i wasnt drinking rice milk for a few days i was feeling a bit better

If you have candida issues, could the sugar in the rice milk be enough to cause problems?
Also, rice is usually "prescribed" as a stopper-upper, especially white rice. I don't know if rice milk would have the same effect, though.

I read someplace that canola is often not tolerated by Celiacs. Other than that, perhaps your digestive system isn't handling the rice very well.

have you tried almond or hemp milks? I was drinking Almond milk and I really liked it. Maybe try that for a month or so and see if your constipation goes away (I've have awful times with C too...its the worst). Good luck.

Odd question but what are you eating with the rice milk? I was convinced a while back that I had a problem with a food and it took a very long time to figure out I always had two things together and the problem food wasn't what I thought it was.
