Rice Dream...grrrrr

OK, I"m still fairly new to this diet being only a few months into it. I've been on such a good streak though, havn't been sick since Thanksgiving. Then I had to go and make cookies last night using Rice Dream, after all, it says Gluten Free right on the label! I usually use hemp milk but I was out. I'm so dang sick today and it's the only thing different I used in my cookies. So I looked it up here and found that it's not really gluten free. I'm so mad that they get to put that on the label. Why would they want to chance making people sick? They must be really sadistic or something.

5/08 Enterolab and IgG blood test shows reaction to gluten, dairy, egg, soy and more! Also shows severe malabsorbtion.
DD 7 also tested and is now gluten, dairy and egg free.

I'm sorry you got sick from Rice Dream!! I'm with you ... someone must be sadistic to think it's okay to put 'gluten free' on the box! I gave it my 7 year old son for 2-3 months before I happened to read a post on this website saying 'make sure to not use Rice Dream'. I couldn't figure out why he kept having symptoms!! I'm so thankful for this website!
