I am confused! I've been consuming a lot of soy recently due to trying to stay off dairy and I've noticed that I have a lot of gas and urge to go. Am I developing a reaction to soy or is it a reaction to CARRAGEENAN which is in a lot of no-dairy products? I've heard both. I bought organic lactose free milk today without CARRAGEENAN and almond milk that does have CARRAGEENAN. Any ideas on what it might be??? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Oh ya, I have been gluten-free for only 2 months now.

I just saw your email while searching the web to find sources for CARRAGEENAN FREE ALMOND MILK. My husband has Crohn's and we had a consult last week where I learned that the CARRAGEENAN really triggers inflamation and auto immue activity for Crohns/Colitis! So, I am very initerested in WHERE you found the Almond Milk and it's brand!

The only feedback I can provide you is that you may need to try each of the milks to find out which one your body can handle. If you have a casein sensitivity you my have to avoid cow milk too! It is hard finding out our bodies sensitivites since we are each unique!

Good luck and thanks in advance for the information.
