We are renting out the Shuswap Lake Motel and Resort for a family reunion this summer (In Sorrento BC, near Kamloops)--I know I'm jumping the gun a bit, but we will start all the planning for who's doing what and bringing what in the next month. Does anyone know what I can and can't cross the border with and what is there, shopping-wise near there? We have a cabin with some sort of kitchen, so that's a bonus.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

There was a discussion about this recently but I can't put my hands on it. Peter had a really good post about what can/can't cross the border. Hopefully he will chime in later. As a general rule of thumb for any customs it's organic matter like fresh meat, vegetables, dairy products, etc.

I'm guessing that most of the shopping will be done in Kamloops. Anyone know of grocery stores there?
