Does anyone buy gluten-free and dairy free cheese in Australia?
Where do you get it? Woolies? Coles?
What brand?
I cant seem to find anything...not even a soy cheese.
Ive been gluten-free for months and am now going lactose free aswell...I will dearly miss cheese. :-(

Gluten free cheese is very easy as nearly all cheese is gluten free. Diary free is harder but the problem is that often soy products have gluten in them (such as soy milk). There should be a diary or lactose free cheese in the diary section of the supermarket. Then all you need to do is check the label to make sure there is no gluten in it. By law all labels in Australia must state is there is an allergy causing ingredient such as wheat, milk etc. so reading the label should be easy. Also I am under the impression that certain cheeses (especially hard cheeses such as parmesan) are very low in lactose. You might need to research that further.

If you mean cow free that's easier again.
Goats and Sheep cheese are OK for people with a dairy allergy (like me)
usually in the form of fetta, can be found at Woollies...
however there is a little sheeps cheese/ice-cream/wine maker who sends aound the country located in southern Tas called Grandvewe which caters for the lactose intolerant.
You might find your cheese there!
You can get goats hard cheese too... but I'm yet to find one.
