Hi Everyone, I'm looking to hear from anyone whose life/relationships have been damaged because of non-diagnosis (or diagnosis too late). Unfortunatly I have experienced this and I imagine I am not alone.

Yes, I won't put my whole sad story here. I was such a bad tempered b. My poor kids, my poor husband. He is not the most nuturing type. When ever I was sick, somehow he was sicker. My illness really hurt our sex life. I was sick for about 30 years and married for about 14 of them. Now I am healthy again, but my marriage is still suffering the after effects. Life goes on.

Thank you for writing. I am so glad you are healthy again. I am gettting there. It is amazing. I am currently separated with a 16 month old - pregnancy (though then undiadnosed for 20 years/life) put celiac into high gear. I am not sure what is going to happen and just take things day by day. I would be sadder if I did not feel so awesome and healthier than I ever have. I hope your family heals just as you are/have. I hope more people get diagnosed sooner. With all the gluten-free menus out there now I hope that starts getting this more out in the public. Yep, life goes on.

I can relate. For years I didn't want to go anywhere as I just felt bad. If I went to family event and after eating a meal I would be exhausted and unsocial and would leave early. We started taking separate vehicles to theses events. My marriage has suffered.
But life goes on...........
But life goes on...........
Rheumatic fever at age 5 and again at age 6. Antibiotics for 6 years to prevent strep throat.
Anemia, Mono, Hepititis, Pernicious Anemia, Enlarged Heart, Osteopenia, Vitamin D deficiency, Ataxia, Digestive issues, reactive hypoglycemia, and on and on and on!
Following the SCD diet after gluten free didn't solve symptoms. Much better and getting back my life!
